What to Send for an Accurate Custom Furniture Quote
You don’t need finished drawings to start — but the more of this you include, the faster and firmer your quote comes back.
The short version
A rough sketch with dimensions is enough to begin. To skip the back-and-forth and get a firm number the first time, include the items below. CAD, PDFs, rough dimensions, or reference photos are all fine — we produce shop drawings for your approval before anything is built.
The quote checklist
- What it is. Piece type(s) — banquettes, booths, lounge chairs, sofas, dining chairs, bar stools, headboards.
- Dimensions or a plan. A floor plan for built-ins/banquettes, or overall dimensions for loose pieces. A napkin sketch with measurements works to start.
- Quantities. How many of each — and whether it repeats across locations.
- Materials (COM/COL). Your fabric or leather, or ask us to help spec it. Include the pattern/vendor if you have it; we confirm yardage. See COM & COL explained.
- Finish. Wood and metal finish direction, or a sample to match.
- Detailing. Channeling, tufting, welt, nailhead, exposed wood — or reference images.
- Timeline. Your install or delivery date, so we can confirm lead time against it.
- Delivery location. City/receiver, so freight is in the quote.
What happens next
We return a firm quote — typically within a couple of business days — with a timeline. On approval we issue shop drawings for sign-off before a single cut. Designers and procurement teams can also request tearsheets and CAD or send a full FF&E package.
Ready when you are
Send what you have — a plan, a photo, or a full spec — and we’ll take it from there.
