Buying Custom Beds — Common Questions
What sizes do you build headboards and beds in?
Twin through Cal King, built to your design package — wall-mounted or bed-frame-mounted, with the mounting detail confirmed on shop drawings.
How do you handle a mixed king and queen hotel order?
As one project — send the room mix and the design, and we return a single itemized quote with a firm production schedule, phased by floor if the property needs rooms back in stages.
How much fabric does an upholstered headboard take?
Typically 5–13 yards on 54-inch goods — set by the style rather than the bed size. A plain flat panel sits near the bottom of that range; framed, bordered, or bolstered designs near the top.
Is it built for hotel use?
Yes — contract-grade construction with fills that meet California TB 117-2013, matched to your specified casegoods and finishes.
What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is 4–10 weeks from approved shop drawings or fabric receipt, with multi-floor rollouts phased to your renovation calendar.
