Buying Custom Barstools & Counterstools — Common Questions
What height should I order — bar or counter?
Match the stool to the surface: counter-height stools (roughly 24–26 inch seats) serve 34–36 inch counters, and bar-height stools (roughly 28–30 inch seats) serve 40–42 inch bars. Send your millwork elevation and we build the seat height to it exactly.
Is it durable enough for a busy bar rail or casino floor?
Yes — reinforced frames, heavy-duty hardware on swivel builds, and cleanable, high-double-rub materials specified for nightly service.
Can it match our dining chairs?
Yes — we build coordinated dining, counter, and bar heights in one consistent look, from the same finishes and materials.
How much COM fabric does a stool take?
About half a yard for a seat only, 0.45–0.75 with a back, and 1.25–2 yards fully upholstered, on 54-inch goods — confirmed on your shop drawings.
What is the lead time?
Standard lead time is 4–10 weeks from approved shop drawings or fabric receipt, depending on construction and quantity.
